Nick Ungerer's comment:
I would like to point out a number of flaws in this advanced analysis of the Dutch film 'Komedie om Geld', by Max Ophuls.

I would like to start off with noting that this is my first advanced analysis. I did not analyse cameramovement within the shot itself. For instance: if a shot starts out as a medium shot and ends as a long shot, I still define it as a medium shot. I didn't take the movement/zoom of the camera into consideration.

Secondly, since this is my first advanced analysis and due to my lack of experience in this field, I accidently misdefined a fair number of shots. However, I think the misclicks on one type of shot are evened out with the misclicks on another type of shot. For instance: I may have defined a long shot as a medium long shot, or a close-up as a big close-up. I did not make any big mistakes, like defining a big close-up as a very long shot. So inspite of the misclicks, the overall number of different shots should be fairly accurate.

Finally, I customized two buttons in the advanced mode of Cinemetrics. I changed FS to LS (Long shot) and LS to VLS (Very long shot) based on the excerpt from Barry Salt's book 'Moving Into Pictures'. In it, he defines the various 'Scales of Shot' and he mentions the VLS and the LS. In the image depicted on the same Cinemetrics webpage, however, it shows as FS and LS. It's only a minor detail, but it seemed best to mention it.
