This time-accurate entry was based on a dvd that runs around ten minutes shorter than the dvd I had used for my earlier two entries on this film.

This shortened version seems to be the same until the dream sequence featuring Lilian Harvey's visit to Hollywood. At that point, the shortened version becomes more elliptical. For instance, it omits at least one song sequence: a performance of the film's theme by Paul Horbiger, who, in the long version, sings the tune at around 59:00, according to my plot notes for the film.

I haven't been able to find the long-version dvd. Once I do, however, I may try counting it using FACT.
