although I knew there should be around 400 shots, I didn't come to that many shots. I'm not quit sure why that is, I assume I missed some shots when the editing got quicker, like in the battlescene between the husband and the bandit.

Don't shed tears, my child, it's a hard film to measure because it contains cuts on movements as they characters chase each other through flickering forest trees. Take a look at Ivan Theo's results (he has a more likely number) and see where his trendline departs from yours (if it does). What we learn from our clicking errors and from comparing results to others is to what extent a margin of error impacts the end graph.
